Lou Ferrigno and Hearing Loss

Ferrigno, 69, had many ear infections after he was born. This resulted in a 75 to 80 percent hearing loss. He has been using hearing aids since he was four. As People reported, he was bullied growing up for his hearing aid and speech impediment. His hearing has declined with age, which led to him getting a cochlear implant in February 2021.

“I spent my whole life perfecting my body and thought, why not do the same with my ears?” Ferrigno told BabyBoomers.com.
